Jesus didn’t command us to build big fancy church buildings. He didn’t command us to have church 3 times a week, to have Sunday school or AWANAS. He didn’t tell us to build seminaries and Bible Colleges…he didn’t tell us to do any of that…He simply said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”.
Now, none of those things are bad. In fact, most of them are incredibly helpful. But Jesus didn’t command them. He didn’t tell us directly to do that, but we did. In fact, we’ve gotten really good at those things. But what we have not done is obey what he did command…that we Go…and make disciples.
