If you died right now, do you know for sure that you would go to Heaven?
In about a minute I can explain to you how you can know for sure that if you died today you would go to heaven. All you have to know are 4 things: 1. " For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23 If you're honest you know that you have lied? That's a sin. I'm a sinner, you're a sinner, all mankind are sinners. How did you become a sinner? What is the price for your sin? 2. God says, " Wherefore, as by on man sin entered into the world, and death by sin: and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Romans 5:12 This is the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God told them they could eat of any tree but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed God and ate from the tree. A sin was committed. That sin passed down to you and me. The price for sin, eternal death in Hell, also passed down to you and me. 3. God says, " But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 God loves you very much. He does not want you to go to Hell. In fact, He loves you so much that he sent His son Jesus to die on the cross for us. Jesus lifted the sin from you and took it upon himself. When they nailed Jesus to the cross, the blood He shed cleansed you of your sin. When He died on the cross He paid your debt for sin, death. They buried Him but He arose from the dead and thus conquered death and sin. " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 Eternal life is a present. You can not get baptized into Heaven, work your way into Heaven or buy your way into Heaven. You cannot do anything to get into Heaven except receive the payment Jesus made for your sin on the cross , and receive Him as your personal Savior and Lord. 4. God says, " For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 Here is how that is accomplished......... Do you admit that you are a sinner? Do you believe Jesus is the son of God? If you are sorry for your sin and would like to receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord, then ask Him. Pray- Dear Jesus, Please forgive my sin and save my soul. Thank you. Amen. Praise the Lord, you are now a new creation, saved by the grace of God. Now we encourage you to seek a Bible-believing church to attend and begin to live your life for the Lord.
