Jesus holds children very close to His heart; that’s why kids are a top priority at Union Hill BC.

We truly count it our privilege to minister to families each week, as there is nothing more beautiful than a Kingdom minded family that loves Jesus, one another, and others. Consequently, the goal of our children’s ministry is to partner with parents as they help their children to experience and understand the love of God and become fully devoted followers of Christ.

Ministry Values: From an early age, it is important that children learn and understand the unchangeable character, nature, and power of God. This is absolutely essential for laying a solid foundation for the good news of the gospel. To this end, we teach our children about God’s nature, character, and power including His love, grace, and mercy through both the timeless truths found in Old Testament story and through the gospel messages clearly taught in the New Testament.

Focus: We provide safe, developmentally-appropriate environments that are clean and orderly for all children, age birth through sixth grade.

Relationships: Children develop friendships with screened, trained adults who emphasize love, as well as with other kids their age as they learn the story of God’s love- the Bible.

Dynamic, creative environments: Children’s imaginations are stimulated through fun, loving, and interactive spaces where kids are encouraged to grow to know God’s love.

Security — Children’s Check-In begins at 9:15 AM at the entrance to the Children’s Wing, located at the north end of the fellowship hall. All children between the ages of birth through 1st grade must be checked in. After the service parents must present their portion of the security tag when picking up their child. Children will not be released to any adult without matching security tags.
